Made a mistake on the date of today's "merc" . It is a 1942, not a 1940.

May 5th was a "dirt dig"..the others were ocean detectings...

Nice finds! I like the Grave Digger Monster Truck! :) VROOOMMMM!!!!!

you mean that drag racing car?

no the other side. the one with the detail and the heart shape on the end. not the key...its iunder the bottle and change...:detecting:

Really neat bunch of stuff Magyar. That's a LOT of diggin':detecting:
Great pics by the way. The rose pendant looks very nice.

Your heading is sort of the opposite to some of our goldfields over here in Oz. I wanted to make sure that I was allowed to detect for gold nuggets near an old historic reserve. The ranger said "no problems mate, but if you dig up any coins or relics be sure to replace them into the hole you dig them out of. The gold is yours though." Can you imagine finding, our top coin is a 1930 penny ($25000) and going "drats, a coin , I better put it back into the ground".
Oh yeah, great finds too by the way.

Oh, that 's a handle from an old gas lamp connection...I have found several of them...all very ornate...from a by-gone era.
the heart -shaped handle should turn to let an amount of gas in to light the lamp...I don't really understand it, but that 's what my husband was esxplaining to me.

Thanks Mike..it is a "Jagermeister " liquor bottle...I'm not interested in the liquor, but I love the dark green color of this bottle.

Great finds Lorraine. Thanks for leaving some gold for me  It would have been nasty out there today, what a raw day on the Connecticut shore.
I got my Surf PI Pro today, White's gave me a new one. They were having trouble fixing my 1st one. Soon as the weather changes I'll be out there, looking for that "gold" :)
Good hunting
