Took Mrs. Joan out for Valentines dinner tonight.....

and when we got to Richmond, Indiana I said I would take her anywhere she wanted to go. Some really nice restaruants there. She chose Steak and Shake. I said you want to go to Steak and Shake for dinner, I will take you whereever you want to go. She insisted on Steak and Shake, soes thats where we go. As long as she is happy. Taking her out next weekend to buy her a diamond necklace, so I guess I will take the change from dinner and put toward that. We did have a good time together.

Ok so I didn't take Joan out to dinner but tell her I would if she lives closer! I took Tami out and our little one Grace came along too.
We were going to Texas Road House, but they were so packed there was a 40 minute wait. It was only 4:45pm!
She chose to go to Applebees. We had fun! :)

Doug, some of us ladies don't always necessarily want or need the biggest and best, or most expensive of things. Not saying that I don't enjoy going to some of the finer restaurants around here occasionally, but I'm usually just as happy to go to Uncle Sam's BBQ as I would be if we went to Baby Does, Red Lobster or some other more expensive (or classier) place. I'm that way in almost every area of life. Again, I'm not saying I don't like the biggest, bestest, most expensive of things at times, but as a general rule, I'm a down to earth, sensible, and reasonable gal. Joan picked what she wanted! THAT's what would make her happy! Just be glad you saved a few bucks while making her happy at the same time. Now, you'd best go all out on that diamond necklace!!!

The diamond necklace might just make the process of buying a new metal detector for me a lot softer. JUST KIDDING Y'ALL. She doe really deserve it. She gets to pick it out and I get the blessing of paying 4 it.
 
yep,she wanted to eat out in a nice place with some atmosphere, to eat the finest cuts of meat,so she got all dolled up i put on some nice threads and put on my 007 cologne and made some reservations.we arrived on time ,gave her a loaf of bread and a bottle of nice white wine and a block of cheese ,told her to start on one end of the DELI-MEATS and to call me when she got through the other end.:rofl::rofl:HMMMMMM----------NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM IN ICU WILL BE HERE FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS-------------BRING FLOWERS & lots of cold dr.pepper:stars:
