This unit runs like a dream. Its awesome.
I turned the machine on for the first time and set all my settings the way I hunt. Noise canceled and off I went. From open field to the awn right under the power lines and no problems. Tones are clean and sweet and the bad ones are typical of the XSII Had no problem with signals. I run all metal and everything seemed normal.
One thing I would like to bring up is in the manual it states something that surprised me. Page 19 "Coil sweep" It says to keep the coil off the ground. Avoid excessive brushing of the coil on the ground, as this may result in false signals.
I kept the coil off the ground all day.
