Took my T2se for a stroll on the beach today.....

This is only the 2nd time out with the tootsie. The first time out at this beach only yielded a bunch of clad, and a bag of aluminum crud. I bought this machine as I needed something a bit more sensitive to gold. I dug alot of targets in the 40-70 range , hence the bag of aluminum. This 2nd trip to the freshwater beach, I wanted to concentrate on the high section of the beach, that has alot of trash. I put on the 5 coil, set the sensitivity at 90, BP 2 tone mode, disc at 20. I scanned about a 6 ' x 12' area, 45 minutes later I had the 6 jewelry items in my pouch , and no coins! I have never found that many rings in so short of time frame. 3 are silver, the other 2 rings and cross are junk. They were 5-7" deep. The next hour I dug alot of trash, including a pulltab as deep as my garrett pinpointer. The last hour I put the stock 7x 11 coil on, set it in 4 tones, and picked up a handful of clad. Gold is still eluding me, but its only a matter of time, before I put the coil over one. It was an awesome day to be out, temps close to 60. HH
