Took the Compadre for a walk in the soccer field

There is a soccer field I pass several times a month during my work day. Back in August there was a volleyball tournament going on with over a dozen nets set up Yesterday was the first I went past at the end of my work day that nobody was on the field playing soccer, so I stopped. I had an hour before it got dark so I put the Compadre to just below foil and put it to work. Was really hoping to find some jewelry but ended up with $1.17 in change and 2 pull tabs. I am assuming somebody already works that place on a regular basis due to lack of trash and most coins were just below the surface. I really enjoy my (toy). I have to laugh when people refer to it as a toy detector.

The Compadre is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. It just amazes how well the the one knob wonders works.

Agreed - I have to say a large percentage of my finds with more supposedly upscale, competent detectors would just as easily been found with the Compadre had I been swinging it at the time. It really is a wonder.

I cannot get enough of the Compadre. I keep it in the car for just in case I see somewhere that is just begging to be hunted. I think the secret is out about this amazing, but simple machine. Everybody wants one.
