Took the Omega for a woods stroll. :teknetics:

Although no silver coins this morning, the Omega and 10" concentric were flushing out the targets. The first good target that I knew was good was the 1893 IH cent. In cleaning up the coins when I got home noted the only nickel dug might be an older one. Gave it a vinegar scrub and got the 1911 date...a V nickel. Towards the tail end of the hunt about half way to the down tree in picture two I was going to swing along I got the 925 silver ear ring. All in all, dug a bunch of targets working along a little used path. 20 zinc and memorial cents along with some lead, 2 clad dimes and other items got dug this morning. Yesterday afternoon I went back to the semi modern park where I got the silver ring and silver dime earlier in the week and dug the 39 wheat, token and well traveled Washington quarter, along with a couple bucks in clad and cents. It had a good bit of depth and barely more then a repeatable whisper. Looks like we may get some yankee weather this weekend. HH jim tn

A very nice and wellrounded hunt! Your plate has a crack in it though, better go back to the paper ones..yeah, I think this weather is going to flip flop and drop some cold down on you guys...get out there and stay in it though, you are really rolling this year!:clapping:

Not a bad day at all for a old man swinging a broom handle with a aluminum pie plate nail to the end of it.

Heck, I didn't even get out the house today, because this ole nasty cold front screwed up my sinuses.

Way to go Jim!

razerback, that one has a eagle on the back, too. Most of the one's like that that I find are issued and used at our city zoo. Or, they used to be. HH jim tn
