Hey gang. Well, I took the advice of many of the posters here and I purchased myself the 4.5" crossifre II coil for my 550. Hopefully it will help me work my way around the trash at some of my sites. I'll let you know how I make out with it when I receive it. $70 including shipping. Hopefully my first find will pay that off <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

I still have a rain cover that has yet to reach me as well.
 
in the center of this coil. I read the post on your pinpointing trouble with your stock one. I have a 10 x 14 DD coil and the pinpointing is in the center ,off the front tip as the signal goes away too. Have fun with the 4.5. You will find more with it. I did.
