How's everybody doing! I just wanted to say that I was browsing around the hand tool section today at Home Depot, looking for a new hand pick and shovel and I spied a really neat looking piece that had a serrated edge on one side and a knife type blade on the other side. I think it's called a Planters Buddy, but I'm not sure about that. It seems to have some "meat" to it, not flimsey and it's also curved a little. I think it had a cutting edge on the end part of it too, so if that's true, it might be a really good tool to cut grass or roots with and also scoop out a plug with it too. Looks like it's about 15 bucks and I think it's aluminum, but looks pretty heavy duty. I just wanted to say too that there's some other cool looking tools in the same section. One of them was a really neat larger hand shovel with a really nice curved type handle on it that could give you some pretty good leverage in tougher ground. Go check em out. I love the prices I was seeing and some of them look pretty durable. Just a little public service announcement from the semi-old Beach Guy.:lol: I say semi-old, because if I will just start USING, these nice tools more, it should help me stay in better shape. Hey Beachguy, when I saw that serrated lawn cutter on the Explorer video, I thought to myself, gotta have one of those! The fella on the video made it look so easy, retrieving targets from the lawn. So now, I'm in the market for one of those! See if the crowd over here have one! Cheers Golden:):detecting:
 
Geezzz, Golden I'm embarrassed! I forgot about that in the Explorer Video. I need to go back and REVIEW, that video, for sure. I swear, I'm telling you the truth. While were at it with this grass thing, I'm convinced that there's burried treasure under the grass int the parks, because where do people play all the games, and football, and God know's what else, but I'm still a little paranoid about the infamous PARK RANGER, if you get my drift, but I'm hoping at least, if I learn do do a clean cut and plug and replace the plug carefully and make it look good, maybe I'll have a chance.
