Toy pistol and a heart attack mercury dime...:detecting:

I found the toy pistol 12 inches down in my yard last sunday, and the mercury was found today out at the old 1920's resort sweet spot. There was that fleeting moment when I knew it was a 1916..(silver #11 for this year), but had'nt looked at the obverse yet to see if it was the coveted Denver dime. Pretty worn but I'm sure it's just a Philly dime. I found a 1916-S last year less than a mile down the road. Also found four wheats or Indians..can't tell yet because they are so corroded..good times. :super:

Great finds, GREAT pics !

Cool find on the pistol Dave.

As for that '16 Merc...always a thrill to dig one then stall as long as you can before flipping it over.:)

Kinda' like goin' to the casino and pulling the lever on the slot...then seein' 7......7....then having that brief moment of anxiety hoping to see the third 7 pop up:thumbup:
