General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Trade OLD COINS for NEW DFX or Minelab Explorer SE

I would like to trade some old coins for a NEW WHITE'S DFX or Minelab Explorer SE. I had a White's 6000DI but when I moved to my new home somehow it grew feet and disappeared. I won't speculate and say it was stolen, but I know that I searched and searched and it is definitely gone. So what I would like to do since I have very limited funds is trade some old coins for a NEW DFX...Please!!! I hope I am in the right classified section since it does have to do with a metal detector. I really want to get back into treasure hunting since I moved to northern part of Maryland, not too far from Gettysburg. There are sign all over about Civil War bivouac areas and old time carnival grounds etc. It's kind of like a historic area. I am sending a list of some of the coins I have, please take time to look and I really want to get a NEW DFX. Thanks in advance.

YOur asking for a high level detector with no pics of coins, your best option may be sell your coins on ebay, not only that if this is your first post, I doubt anybody will jump at doing a high end deal. Just my thoughts. HH
 
Everyone tells me ebay, but I took a $300 loss there and swore I'd never go back. As for pictures let me know which ones you might want to see, here are 5 photos, if you need others let me know. My photos aren't the clearest..
