General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Trading my X-Terra 705 for an AT Pro.

I have a less than a year old Minelab X-Terra 705 with the 10.5" 7.5khz coil and the 10x5" 18.75khz coil that I am wanting to trade for a 2nd Gen AT Pro with multiple coils. Let me know what you have.

You must be kidding that 705 will put a AT pro to shame out preform in all areas.
 
IMHO you are trading down! I had an ATP briefly. Keep your 705 and get a used Tiger Shark then you have a real water machine and one of the best Minelab machines. I would think hard about it.

Really? How does that 705 do submerged under water??? I have yet to find a more versatile machine than a AT-Pro! If I were you I would contact a forum sponsor like Richard at Backwoods detector sales or Chuck at Indian Nations detectors or Bart at Big Boys Hobbies and trade it in on a new AT-Pro that way you have a two year warranty on it.
 
I guess were all intitled to our own opinion. I have seen several people including myself trade a 705 for an AT Pro and happy I did it. Very good machine.
