Hello,
I'm fairly new to TH ing and would like to get together with a club or individuals here in the Triangle area to share tips, compare machines etc.
I'm a DFX owner and would like a few pointers as I am coming up empty all too often

You have a very good Detector. If you are coin hunting use the 3khz frequeny for hunting coins etc.learn to use the coin preset mode only.
It will take you a year to know that unit.
Dfx is a very powerful unit.I am still learning the XL PRO and now I find things that the XLT and DFX users that I hunt with passed over .The key is to dig everything and learn what the unit is telling you.
When you can tell what it is before digging you will know your unit.
