To begin I'll be needing a buck to cross the bridge.

(You didn't think I would really spend a Sac find did you?) Now where is that bridge? Gonna need a compass.

Shoot, wrong compass. Better give somebody a ring.

(Silver if you're wondering.) Oh yeah, the bridge is right past that small field of wheat.

Now if I could only find my keys.

Semi key anyway. 1926S which is my best ever Merc find. I'll make a silver coin hunter of myself yet. (Got at least one in 3 of last 4 hunts.)

Chris

PS I cut my thumb on some glass and I think I'll have to take a few days off.

Good picture story !
Sorry to hear about your little accidental cut.
Hope your tetanus shots are up to date.and heal quickly .

Cool post Chris!:thumbup:Yeah man, sorry you cut your thumb on some glass.:(Take it easy, man. Get well soon.:)

great finds Chris  yeah finding silver becomes addictive i can spend all day in the grass digging hundreds of junk items just to find one or two silver coins yet i cant do the same for finding gold rings
i usually hunt all winter for old silver as the grounds nice & soft over here then when summer hits i look for gold but now i"v found a way of hunting old silver & gold at the same time when the grounds to hard to dig so hopefully my yearly silver count will double :clapping:.
hope ya thumb heals soon mate .

Ouch! Cut thumb really smarts! I had to start wearing gloves every time out because of all the broken glass I was digging up. Also found that I am allergic to some kind of mold spore in the dirt and my hands break out in little white bumps! I use the cheap Wal-mart gloves with the cloth backs and rubber palm and finger liners. For some reason it is resistant to cuts from glass and won't let the mold get me. Onus
