Triple "D" plus double "S"

Hit the flea market looking for some hockey cards and ended up with a nice Bluenose postcard to add to my collection. One "S" down for shopping. Little did I know what was in store for me under the same "S."

Then home and pick up the much better half who wanted to go to Dollar Lake. Her wish was my command. Magically Aqua Guru ended up in Nogo's trunk. Marie backed a picnic full of goodies including an eclair, cucumber sandwiches along with veggies and a dip. One "D" down.

Driving here and there we stopped at a park and ocean side netting a few nasty fishing lures, a "dewy" with a few coins. "D,S's" were wiped off the board with drive and dig. Mr. Man was it hot. How hot you say...hotter than the 400cel of the oven where the buffalo wings are cooking. Going to add a hot sauce that will curl one's toes. Gutz love it!

Leaving the one "S" for the day we changed into our swimming attire with Aqua in tow. Marie assumed the position at the picnic table as I rushed into the lake. Was not crowded at this time so I gridded off the beach with the first find fittingly being a loonie (our one dollar coin). After all we were at Dollar Lake! Then another. Into the drink I went immediately stepping into a crater on the water's floor. Got to tell you it was like "No man's Land" in WW! with all the holes on the bottom. Had no great expectations as a few days ago I watched a Youtube of a guy digging the water a week before. First five targets were junk...should have been removed previously as they were near lake craters. No problem as I pocketed some nails, a beer can and a few bobby pins. The final "S" which was this swish netted me 10 coins which were found in the rocky bottom near the little island to the right of the beach. Hard going and I know I will pay for today's outing.

It was about this time that Aqua took a hissy fit giving me intermittent sounds from his head phones. Darn and double darn! Lord love a duck! Loose or frayed wire once again. Have to get another set...this will be the third for him. Question is ....who has one in stock! Fishcakes...son of a firetruck! Saving grace for the swish was the scenery. Wish I had put on my mirrored sunglasses as a quick look from the boss signaled that was a no no. Got a nice nod however when I showed the debris that I had swished up to the life guard who was a very nice looking young lady. At 71 I am not dead ....yet youz!

Back to work tomorrow with the Norwegian Star coming in. Looking forward to it as it has a great crew and a port fellow Scotty said that he could replace the 20 pound shaft on my sieve with a lighter metal shaft.. A real source of discord dragging that around at present; sort of reminds my of Arnold Schwarzenegger while flexing his biceps pointing to each and saying "Dis is Hans and dis is Franz and we here to pump you up!"

Mentioned the "S" for shopping at the start of this post. We were not done as Marie stopped at the Chocolate Shop and the Wellington Bakery on the way home. My poor wallet was , was deflated, emptied, bare leaving me enough for a Tim's medium with double milk on the way to work tomorrow. Oh joy!
