TRX interference with detectors

Hello all,
I have been thinking about picking up a TRX....does it interfere with a mx5, coin gt, or at pro? I know my mx5 has a suspend button but that's kind of an inconvenience to push, I would rather not have to.

thx,
Dave

Carl said it best, but I don't have his post bookmarked. Basically, we tried various frequencies and the best one that had the least chance of interfering was 12kHz. The oscillator is self driven, so the frequency for the pinpointer may be a little above or a little below 12k. And detectors also vary in their transmit frequencies. There is no magic frequency that will guarantee no interference unfortunately. But, if you have a Garrett PP that does interfere with your detectors, it's probably just that the frequencies between the 2 are too close. Getting a TRX has a good chance of not interfering - we did test with the various machines and no interference on those. (And I hate to say this because, well, you should buy ours :) ) getting another Garrett would likely not interfere either.

TRX interferes way less with my MX5 than the Garrett PP. MX5 will still buzz if I get the TRX to close to the coil.

Thx for the replies...I was wondering cause my mx5 is affected a lot by my propointer and profind. I think I'll pick up a trx today.
