trying to buy an ACE 250

I'm trying to buy one of these so I can familiarize myself with it somewhat before the ground thaws. So what do I find None of my local guys have one and they are ON BACK ORDER from Garrett. What's up with that? You couldn't see that there just might be a demand for them come spring? You only had all winter to build up some inventory. I'm getting pretty disgusted and am about ready to give up on the whole thing.

Sorry, just wanted to vent a little bit. Guess I'll just ride it out and hope that I can get one before next fall.

Check internet dealers and distributors not the factory.

Since the 250 is the most sold detector on the market what would you expect? They doubled the size of the factory and added 120 more employees and still can't keep up. Have you tried the online dealers such as the ones on this web site? You might try the classifieds on this site and others. We here have no control over the availibility of detectors.

I know that I could probably check around and find one on line, but I would rather buy 'local' when I can, rather than some one that I know absolutely nothing about. If something goes wrong It's a lot easier to get in someones face when you can walk into the store rather than try to get someone to respond to an email or a phone call.

I'm a little gun shy cause a couple of years ago I ordered something on line and it was only afterwards that I realized that the website did not list a phone number or an address. Only contact was an email address which they NEVER responded to. Makes me cautious.

Selling everything you can build is much more proofitable than holding inventory. It means you turn over your working capital in a shorter period of time. That is good for both customers and factory. Helps to keep costs down.

The dealers on this web site are reputable and spend a lot of money to sponsor this forum. Kellyco has been around for fifty years

Buy one at Kellyco. A sponsor of this forum. Get a Pro-Pointer too if you have the spare dough. You'll have them in a week or so.

They have them at Dick's Sporting Goods web site, got mine for 212.00 and free shipping had it in 4 days, great detector for the price!! I am really impressed with this machine it truly is a detector is worth every penny and more with features found on more expensive detectors. Read the reviews on this one and you'll find nothing but good ones.

I buy ALL my detecting stuff from Kellyco... I bought my 250 last year about this time, ordered on a Monday, got it Thursday from FL up to MA when I was there. A bunch of free stuff with it, and a pinpointer for FREE. Ya, I would go with them, they are the best out there as far as I am concerned.
