Trying to keep you all posted on Brian's Battle

A good night!

Posted 10 hours ago

Brian had a better night last night, only waking up a couple of times. He only had one minor bleeding incident last night with a very minimal amount of blood. Awesome news!!

We should be moved to a regular room today and Brian may be able to start taking clear liquids. He hasn't had anything to eat or drink since this ordeal began.

A new IV needs to be put in and we are dreading that. He is getting harder and harder to stick. I pray they can hit a vein on the first attempt.

The release date will be pushed back a day or two because they want all of the bleeding to subside before letting us go home.

We are now coasting on the roller coaster and can see the end of the ride coming up.

We know hundreds, if not thousands of people are praying for Brian, and us, on a daily basis. We can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to lift us up in prayer. We wish we could thank each of you personally.

God bless,

Doug and Carol

Arteriogram #2

This afternoon Brian had another serious bleeding episode and they are now in the process of setting up his second surgery.

He did great all day until the last hour. We are awaiting the blood level results to determine if he needs a transfusion before surgery.

Thanks for praying!!

A call from surgery

Surgery will last at least 2 more hours, maybe more. They are also considering additional tumor reduction at the same time.
