Turns out this and THAT was GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

I cleaned this up the best I could, was still greyish so I put it in my wallet for luck. I was looking for a phone number today and the charm fell out. I took a closer look its stamped HOFF 10KT, it took a buffing wheel to get it clean, 7 grams just bigger than a quarter I thought the other guys scooped it all!!!!!!!!
