DOLLAR, all that think Ghost is lucky or crazy stand up and holler. (That covered all bases) Spanish dollar that is and not from the beach.
LG and I were going crazy this afternoon, knew it was time to go out somewhere as LG was muttering something about murder and mayhem, cutting the pieces up and going crabbing.
Well anyway went down to Beaufort, a town that was settled in the 1700s. I have permission from the town engineer to hunt the streets when they tear them up for repair. I had noted last week that they had one block of street ripped apart to put new water lines in, so down the street we went, metal detectors slinging.
I got a big reading about six inches down, at least that is what my CZ 3D said, "It's six inches down" said the Fisher to the Ghost. Army shovel out, hand and shovel overhead, start down to ground at 60 MPH or so, strike dirt, up pops this. It ain't the best but love finding 1700 period coins.
My Nautilus would not balance out, but 3D like a rock.

Here is a newer Spanish Dollar from out collection for comparison. Sort of turn the above coin 180 degrees in your mind.
