Hey all,
Just hit silver #150 and Indian head #100 for the year. I was working some boulevards that are supposed to be redone for street repairs next year. Lots more territory to cover. This was tough detecting: busy road, loud cars, lots of trash- especially clad, and power lines above so sensitivity about 17 or so was almost impossible. May retry with the 8" coil. Anyways some guys were sitting on the front steps of a house drinking beers so I asked if I could do the yard. Found three oldies- 1900-O barber dime, 1893 indian, and 1910-S wheatie. Was real pleased to see the barber lists for $100 in VF and $170 in EF. 1910-S wheatie was new coin for me. I very seldom find a wheat that I didn't already find from when I was a kid, still have a few holes to fill in the book, last week got a 1933 that was also new to me.
But barber and mercs folders are getting filled big time this year, 14 new dates for the barbers and 8 for mercs, last year seemed all I could find were repeat dates.
