the boys and i went out detecting today at a park that's pop ed out a few oldies most times i"v been there before. had a bit of a disappointing start 2 hours for nothing but junk then as i was just thinking about going home i struck silver a 1907 sixpence wile i was doing the happy dance the boys decided to try eating the worms in the plug i"d just pulled my lovely silver out of !!!! that disaster averted i started hunting again hit a couple of newer coin spills for $4.75 and to top the day off another silver this one a 1950 sixpence with a hole in it. so all up a good day + a bit of protein for the kids.

I think it's extremely beneficial to see everything that we dig on an outting. I dug some junk tonight too, but alas it got too dark for a photo.....don't worry though, my nuts will be made public soon! Best, Erik

i think it"s a good idea as well you see all these blokes dig heaps of silver and people don't realise they dig a ton of junk to get it.
hope some of those big silver hitters show some pics of there junk i"m starting to think i"m the only loser to dig a pile of trash to get a couple silvers. i usually dig a pile more junk than this but the targets were a bit thin on the ground today.
