Uh-oh...

Looks like the party's over for us DirtFlipper. This was one of are longest seasons we started in march and and went so far to mid November that doesn't happen to often I cant really complain about that.

You and DF must live in North Dakota huh? Just a wild guess. Well, hope you have plenty of reading material and lots of firewood if your season is over. Spring just never seems to come soon enough when you start getting cabin fever and want to go detecting.

Minnesota, but close enough. I have hopes that the first snow will just be wet and heavy and the ground won't freeze up for another two weeks at least. A little moisture and colder temps makes for good plug cutting for a brief window. Gotta be a couple more outings left this year.... I made it to end of November last year. But I agree, it's been a good long season with an early warm up, so can't really complain.

:usaflag:We are only expecting 1 to 2 inches this weekend. But, like you say, it's just about time to hang it up. Will try to squeeze a hunt or two in anyways.

That ain't no good D-Flip.

I know i will go stir crazy this winter not being able to hunt. I plan on swingin' the coil until the ground freezes beyond the 3" level though.

After more than 3" of chiselin' ...I call it a season:bouncy:
