Well the weather forcast is awful but the annual Minelab pilgrimage will still take place at Corfe Castle in Dorset UK.

Weh have MLO Minelab detectorist from around the world with us.

As we are all Minelab users lets see what come out.

Can The Explorers outgun the other Minelab models this year its not going to be a walk over but we will try.Jerry.

Corfe castle was built 1000 years ago, but very badly damaged by the English civil war about 1643.

I beautiful and wonderful site and other years coins from before Christ have been found by Minelab owners just like yourselves.

I posted this because we are all Minelab users from around the world and senior Minelab employees will be with us as in previous years.

All have luck wherever you are detecting this weekend.Jerry.

The very latest Explorer was unveiled to us by the Minelab team at the Rally what a cracking machine and even a child can pinpoint with this model so no more moans and groans.

They have used the same idea as on the X-Terra which as Iam sure you know is brilliant.

It is a little lighter and a nice colour black.

Can you believe it but it sclaimed to be even more sensative than its predessores.

The battery life is also a couple of hours longer.

The balance seems nice.

It will be on sale in the UK in a couple of weeks time or perhaps a little less.

Coins some 2000 year old coins some silver wer found on the dig I had more run of the mill stuff up to 300 years old.

Well good old Mr Minelab was very generous at the Rally with lots of goodies donated to the evening raffle.

Well thats all for now folks.

Jerry.Bristol UK.

Corfe was built in the late 9th century, I think it was around 879 or so. Falling apart now, sadly, and the Nat'l Trust is working on a preservation plan to protect what little is left standing. Must have been tons of gunpowder they used to blow the place up, from the looks of things.
