Went to my local park on Saturday, its called sefton park been there since Victorian times, any way, md for a few hours on the land, found lots of nice old coins and a nice silver bracelet , then decided to give the drained lake ago, (they are restoring the park to its original Victorian status) found a few nice coins and other odds and ends (will post pics at a later date), well the surprise was that yesterday, the after i detected the lake they only found an unexploded ww11 bomb about 15ft from where i was detecting, now do i go back and detect or what :goodnight:, i did get signals on some big items, :surprised:

mmmmmmm........let me think about that one.......Yep! I would go back! LOL..Good luck bud!:garrett:

Sure go back and detect ALL those large signals.

Flag them "carefully" and attatch a buisness card or something:biggrin:

Good Luck (I mean that with all due respect):geek:

Don

Of course go back and dig.But very very very slowly

Sorry Bernie. I couldn't resist that one.
I presume that you contacted the local authorities so that the bomb squad could clear the area. Take a photo as a memento and detect after it has been declared safe.
Mick Evans.

it actually wasn't me who found it, it did get my ticker going just thinking how close i was to it, i think i will buy some of that safety gear just in case, the bomb has now gone so its safe again,............. until the next one turns up.

Def. go back but be very careful. Good hunting.
