Uncle Willy is home and doing better and I would like to ask a favor of you guys. He is pretty much confined to a medical chair and can't get to his computer.
if anyone has a used laptop they arent using i would appreciate it if you could send it to Bill.he could use it to get online and get back in here.Just let me know in a post and i can give you his mailing address. He feels confident he could use a laptop alright.
 
I hope somebody provides this man with a laptop, Or something else works out for him . Talk about a bleeding hearts , I think we all feel it for Uncle Willy.
 
if i had one i sure would.i kind of have the same problem getting to my computer being stuck in bed from medical reason a lot of the day. i found i can use a wireless keyboard and mouse helps a lot.or you could set up a paypal account so we could send some money to it so you can get him a laptop.also SO GLAD HE IS GETTING BETTER

I would like to donate $$$ if you buy one. I believe Western Union allows one to wire $$$. Although there has been some bad comments about western union, there should be no problem considereing we know the source and receiving party. Email me privately if you want to follow through. Hopefully a few others will contribute to make it less of a financial burden...

it has a cooling fan and he will need that to sit on his lap in the chair.he said he can connect it to his router which isnt far away.He is pretty much confined to the medcal chair 24 hours a day and a computer will help him enjoy life a little better.
the total is $339.96 John do you have a paypal account or somebody? I'll throw in $100 or what ever difference we need after everyone has a chance to pitch in.

it has windows 7 and should last him awhile. i buy a lot of stuff from tiger direct and they always have good products.I'll go ahead and buy it and have it sent to him from all of us here on the forums when I get my check wednesday.
 
I have purchased a laptop for uncle willy and he should get it tuesday.
