Underwater/Land Detector comparible to Explorer in performance?

I plan on trying my hand @ underwater detecting and would like to find a detector that performs both in and out of water, that is comparible to the Explorer.

Does anyone have any experience with the Excalibur line of detectors? Any recomendations or opinions?
