Update - Brian's Battle

A better night.

Brian fell asleep around midnight so I took advantage of the opportunity to catch up on my sleep. He woke me at 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30 but Carol was up for the last dose of meds and she got them for him. I then commenced to sleep till around 8:30.

Brian didn't bleed all night!! Very good news.

This afternoon, with money burning a hole in his pocket, he asked if I would take him to Target to get a board game and a couple of toys. Usually, the desire to go is there, but when it's time to go he loses the desire to do so. But, not today! We got out for a rare trip to the store and he promptly burned through his money and then some!

This guy is getting heavy!! My back sounded like pouring milk on Rice Crispies when I picked him up to put him in the van. And then I had to get out when we got there, and then back in and out when we got home!

But it is worth it. The smiles make it all worth while.

Just wanted to share some good news with you. Now, I think I'll take a nap.

Praise the Lord and Thank You, Jesus, for answered prayers! The love of our Father is so awesome and His answering our prayers is absolutely wonderful! I am so glad that you and Brian were able to get some sleep and to get out together and enjoy your trip to the store and he was able to go and buy his items for occupying his time! I will try to keep praying like I said I would in my email to you but sometimes I, too, feel so badly that I fail, but God understands and is there blessing anyway!

I awoke really sick early this morning and then after falling back to sleep, I woke up very ill but am feeling better now! I almost thought I should call the ambulance, but not wanting to get dressed for the trip to the hospital, (pride) I toughed it out and am praying that I am much better real soon....I go through these sick spells ever so often, but my Lord and Savior gets me through them by my faith and prayers as I ask HIm to give me strength to go through and the power to overcome each day! My sinuses have really been bothering me along with allergies with a runny nose and watery eyes, severe headaches, plus aches and pains from my arthritis but Praise God, He is there to help and relieve me of the illnesses as long as I lean on and trust in Him and I do!! Amen!

Keep the faith Brian and remember to pray even when you don't feel like it or ask mom and dad to pray for you, when you are very ill and in pain! God will not forsake His own and you are a Child of His and He loves you, mom, dad and sister! The Lord is good and His love for us is eternal as long as we faithfully believe in and serve Him by worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth! May God Bless each of you with healing, strength, joy unspeakable; full of glory, with no more bleeding and the surgery going as well as it can possibly be! Amen! Love ya all in Christ Jesus!
