Here's a big THANK YOU to those of you who took time to pray for my daughter, Julie. She isn't "outta the woods" just yet but she is feeling and doing SOME better. I would appreciate it if you would continue to pray for her over the next few days.

I might not get a chance tomorrow, so I want to go ahead and tell you all that I hope your have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. I ask that you keep us, and most of Alabama in your prayers tomorrow evening & through tomorrow night. Some of you are aware that we have severe weather and tornadoes here on a fairly regular basis and that our state is sometimes completely devastated (worst example 4/27/11). The National Weather Service, through radio & our local TV weather people are warning us of a very dangerous weather setup we are facing tomorrow (Christmas) evening and night. The extreme northern counties aren't included in the threat but the rest of us are looking at he possibility of "severe thunderstorms with violent and long lived tornadoes". We get too familiar with these warnings since we so often have them here, but it's pretty serious when they start warning you a few days ahead of time of the setup, and that's what they've been doing. My Facebook feed has been filled with reminders and warnings to stay alert and prepared for this, and the "local" TV stations we get in my area are out of Birmingham and they are preaching it too.

Sister Lisa,
Despite the difficulty your daughter has suffered, it is indeed good news that she's doing better. I'll continue to pray for complete healing and I'd appreciate continued prayers for me as well, as it looks as though I'll need surgery again.

Martin

Merry Christmas to you also. I will keep yall in my prayers.

Guntersville isn't very far from me, and I live in Marshall's neighboring county of Etowah, and work in Blount County. Thanks for the prayers.

Lisa

Thank you, Travis.

Thank you, Martin. I appreciate the prayers. Sorry to hear that you will have to have surgery again. I will certainly continue to lift you up in prayer.

Thanks, Mike. Please keep praying. It's looking more and more like it will be an over night weather event while people are sleeping, which is not a good thing. They just told on the news that as of right now, the danger is increasing.

John 14;1 let not your heart be troubled ; ye believe in GOD WHO BELIEVES ALSO IN ME . ,he believes in GOD who believes in CHRIST and there is no other way to strengthen and encourage our minds during the greatest distresses

Lisa, I will continue to pray for Julie. That the Lord would heal her quickly and that the doctors will have the knowledge to treat her correctly.
God bless you and your family!
