Well we have more rain today, so still cannot mow the backyard and with all the rain the front and side lawn will be needing it again before long!
I need you all to pray for me to make the right decision on my financial needs. My grandson was wanting to rent my home with his girlfriend and new baby, but that is too risky and so that fell by the wayside by prayers!
Now, I am thinking about refinancing my home which will make my monthly payment a lot more than I am paying now, but will eliminate all my credit cards but one. The taxes and ins will be paid when paying the loan payment each month, but won't have to pay any Prime Ins on making the loan. It will pay off my present Mortgage Loan and Home Equity Line and still give me some cash to help pay for repairs and updates. I won't have to take money for that out of my IRA and if I want to do so, I can take money out of my IRA and add to the cash out to use for purchasing the home in Cuba. The lender is trying to make arrangements for a $50,000 loan (which is needed for the Cuba home) with int payments only until I can sell my house which is pre-appraised at $175,000 to $180,000.....which houses sell for in this area.
My dilemma is meeting the large payment each month (should I have to keep making them) when I've been borrowing on credit cards and switching when I can get a lower rate for a longer period or until paid in full. Added all together my payments run me over $1200.00 a month now, but having to come up with a $1000.00 plus payment scares me, as I had the Home Equity Line to help me and the IRA to use when I needed money to pay my bills!
I've been doing this since the divorce in 1988 and have been able to stay afloat and keep my home....but interest on credit cards will rise when the time period runs out and then I'll have higher payments! Taxes and Ins keep going up, too!
I will let you know when my lender calls me tomorrow with some new figures and whether I can get the $50,000 loan for paying on the Cuba home....will depend on that and if I can't borrow it then I will have to walk away from a beautiful home that's just right for Cliff and I.
So......please pray for the right decision and that God's will be done in everything! God provides our needs but wants us to use godly wisdom too! Maybe I am supposed to stay here, since I've waited so long to try to make the move to another home!
Cliff and I need prayer for our health too.....Doing all the work in the hot weather has done a job on me and of course the stress hasn't helped either! But God is good and has never failed me yet, as long as I have faith and trust in Him! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus and Holy Spirit!
