Update on my friend Ron.............

Mike from MI "Iron Brigade"

I talked with him and his wife yesterday on the phone, and the news was not good.
They seem to think he has had a rare spinal stroke. At the time he had partial paralyisis. Right leg from hip to toes, all ten fingers and his mid section from waist to chest. he was very down, and they said he may not walk again and some of the other problems might hang with him also.
After Tuesday and Wednesday I was pretty down about such a good friend in such bad shape!

I visited today and seen that his spirits were much better! He has gained some movement back in his leg, but his fingers and mid section are still with no feeling and he suffers from spasms about every two minutes. He will be at Bronson probably through the weekend and then later be moved to a rehab center in Battle Creek. They are still trying to nail down the problem.

I know he is feeling better and I am breathing a little sigh of relief too! Thanks for all your prayers, I know they are making a difference!

Mike, me son, try not to get down or discouraged concerning your friend's health problems. You need to be an encourager and give him and his family hope in the Lord that God knows all about him and in His time and Jesus' healing virtue he will be okay. Sometimes we are healed on earth in this life, and if not, then we are made perfect and whole in our after life by knowing Jesus as our own personal Savior!

Maybe yours and his faith are being tested and each needs to draw nearer to Jesus and trust totally in Him! Faithful prayers work and you all are still in my prayers and I'm sure the rest of the brothers and sisters on CMD Forum! Keep on, keepin' on loving, honoring and worshiping Jesus. He loves us and that counts more than anything else in this life or the next!

God Bless!

I have been in contact each day either by visit or phone. I have many people praying for him too. Before I left when I visited the first night I took his hand in mine and prayed for him with his wife and 4 kids all there. I also prayed for them! I just found out he will be moved to an inpatient rehab clinic tomorrow morning.
