Update on my granddaughter, Sarah, and my neighbor's daughter, Angie....

I had them on the prayer requests quite some time ago and have finally found out how they both are! Sarah was trying to find out from many drs and tests what was wrong with her! We thought possibly Fibromyalgia or Lupus.....but.....she has LYME Disease which makes a person very ill with many symptoms mocking other diseases until the right tests are done! She will be on medicine for the rest of her life!

Angie had gastric-bypass surgery and after a letter from my friend Barb, her mother, she has lost 110 pds and is looking and doing better!

Thank you so very much for all your prayers and please continue praying for Tami, as she is still having a lot of pain from her Fibromyalgia and Depression! She called me last night and said she was really having feelings that someone is very ill or in danger, but she had the BLA's Sunday, so I just told her to pray and I would pray too for God to protect whoever was needing prayer and for safety! She was thinking it might be me, but I don't tell her how much I hurt for it would just depress her even more! It is like a dark black cloud pressing down over a person and brings on feelings of stress, forebodings and sometimes suicide! Depression is a disease that is in my Mom's side of the family with anti-depression meds needed taken daily! If anyone has never had deep depression then they don't know what it feels like or does to a person.....even those who are saved and living for Jesus, but He does help us to get through and overcome when we lean on and trust in Him! Thank you Doug and I am still praying for Brian and each of you! I know it is a very difficult time for you and Carol with a very ill son but we know in Whose hands Brian is held closely, for Jesus' loves us and never forsakes His own! So very sorry to hear that he is suffering so much pain but the time will come when his spirit will go back to God Who gave it and he will not suffer any more, for he will be at rest from all sicknesses, worries and cares! Your love and care for Brian is what matters right now! Give him a hug and a kiss from gamma and Ma Betty and tell Sarah Hi ! God Bless!

Praying for your family, its good when people know they are battling depression, some never realize it. I get a mild case from time to time!

Thank you Rentasquid and Rick! I still have depression but not like I did when I was going through the divorce when my ex-husband left and moved in with another woman! Tami has had it so badly that the walls at her workplace were closing in on her and she had to come home! I was watching her sons at her trailer! She wasn't going to go back to get her check and I told her just explain what happened like you told me and she did and the workers were sympathizing with her and she did get paid for the time she worked! I have prayed for her throughout the years for salvation and to be made well! She is saved now but still suffers from depression and other illnesses and takes meds daily! God Bless! Betty
