Update on my Mother.

My sister called around 3 PM to say that the surgeon cannot operate. The cancer has spread to both of mom's lungs and her liver. He's giving her a couple of months to live and told her to cancel a cruise she had planned for July. She has 2 options: Chemo, which he said may not even do any good or extend her life and she'll be ill or Quality of Life where he'll make sure she doesn't have any pain and can stay at home. He wants to do surgery to place tubes in her kidneys to allow them to drain but her left kidney is going to fail regardless. He wants her to decide by tomorrow so he can move ahead with the plan.
I asked my sister to find out if mom wants me to come up to the hospital this weekend or wait until she comes home.

Thank you for your prayers. I believe that God is able to do anything at anytime.

I'M so very sorry, many people say ,I know what your going threw, but i really do I my MOM passed the same way last year.
DO everthing you can do, and don't say could i have done something better, it took me a long time to stop blaming my self
when i did all i could do ,PLEASE don't feel that way.make sure you tell her how much you LOVE her,SHE will be in our prays. IF

I'm sorry to hear it Don, we'll lift her up to the throne again, but if the Lord takes her home, then either way, she'll get her healing. God bless ya'll!
 
We are very sorry to hear the news Don, our prayer meetings have been praying as well as Kim and I. Feel joy in the fact that your mum knows our precious Saviour! I do believe that God is the God of the last minute, a God of miracles, and I pray the peace of God over the entire family. God bless Nugget.

I know what your going through , I lost my Mom same way 3 years ago. My prayers are with you and your family. Spend as much time as you can with her and tell her what great mother she is . she will find comfort in that . Best regards Guzz1

Don we'll keep her, you and your family in our prayers. And if the Lord brings her home then hold on to the fact that he will wrap her in a blanket of peace and comfort and she will be waiting for you with a smile when you get to return home. Here is a passage from Thessalonians 4:12;13
But I would not have you to be ignorant brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. So GH is right she will be healed here if he chooses, or at his right hand in the kingdom of heaven. God Bless Don

I am sorry to hear about your mother. I will remember her in my prayers daily.
 
I drove up to Syracuse to see her today. She's getting by. They are setting hospice for her at home until the end.
