Update on my nephew!.......

First let me say thanks so much for your prayers! As stated last week, my nephew was to attend church with me on Sunday. He got with some un-savory characters on Saturday night and ended up taking an overdose of several different drugs. He was rushed to the E. R. He was un-concious and they pumped his stomach. They then put him on a vent and was going to do a cat scan to see if he was still alive. This is when I got the news, I called my church prayer chain and went out the door for the hospital. I called Greg on the way, so he could make a post to get more prayers going. When I got there my pastor, my sister and ex-brother in-law were there. My sister said the doctors called it a miracle! About 15 minutes after I got the call and the prayers started going up to the Lord, He just sat up and woke right up out of it! The doctors said he was near death, and they don't know how he just woke up like that. He was sleeping when I seen him. I for one know that it was the prayers of the people that gave him a second chance. Thank you Greg for posting for me, and for all of you who prayed. Please continue to pray for Mark and that I can be used by God to lead him to Christ!

Considering his conversation with you, I'd say he's ready for the Word BIG time. Go minister bro', I'm sure the Lord put this one right in your lap :)

Mike, Pete has been keeping me updated on your nephew and when he read this post to me tonight I was full of praise to our gracious and faithful Lord! I'll keep praying that your nephew will come to know and love and serve Him, and that God will use you in a mighty way!
 
...I didn't get your message until after work when I checked my messages. I'm sorry I didn't get it sooner.

Thank God your nephew survived and be assured I have him in my prayers and am praying he will accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour.
 
how have you guys getting along? Haven't heard from ya of late so figured I'd ask. Praying all is well with you and the family and Brian is doing well. Hope you guys get some time to go out detecting together.

...Brian is doing great, eating and sleeping like he hasn't done in months. He sleeps so quietly now we have to check on him every so often to make sure he is breathing. His o2 sensor still goes off several times a night scaring the wits out of us but it is always a false alarm. The sensor will pull off of his finger setting it off.

We have been having to change his trach out every other day and we are getting more comfortable doing that now.
