Not only did the weird hole coin clean up nice. I found his brother!!!!!!!!
One is clearly dated 1671 and the other is dated 1645.
Well they are for sure not from the orient. There are english letters on both coins.
I would love to hear opinions.

Rotated right you can hopefully see the date. Very interesting coins. One is copper for sure and the other is golden colored.

Pretty cool since springfield mass has been around since the 1650's. Very early settler currency perhaps. I am so excited. I will be hunting this spot and surroundings on this long weekend.
