Update on my new spot!!!!:hot:

Not only did the weird hole coin clean up nice. I found his brother!!!!!!!!
One is clearly dated 1671 and the other is dated 1645.
Well they are for sure not from the orient. There are english letters on both coins.
I would love to hear opinions.

Hard to make out the lettering.. If their English coins that would be quite different.:unsure:

Pretty cool since springfield mass has been around since the 1650's. Very early settler currency perhaps. I am so excited. I will be hunting this spot and surroundings on this long weekend.
 
I don't know if you noticed ,but some of the coins that was on the show that charles garrett found looked pretty close to those. Awesome finds by the way/
