Update On The Bug!

After two days of an extreme sore throat, swollen neck, and nothing but sleep, sleep, and more sleep, I'm finally beginning to feel a bit better. It feels like that bug packed his bags and left the hotel! It's usually at this point that I think I'm better and quit the meds and then the bug comes back to roost. This time I'm going to continue on with the 'Natural Cures' to make sure that bugger has left for good! What works for me, when I feel a bug coming on is: Astragalus by Natures Way, Echinacea by Natures Way, Acetaminophen & Naproxen Sodium (A=relief from pain N=relief from swelling). Astragalus is a Chinese herb that normalises body functions and you've all heard of the rest I'm sure. Well......that's it for today folks. Keep those prayers ah coming & I'll be back to my Ole self before you can say Astragalus. :)

Glad the bug has packed its bags. I have been downloading a lot of free eBooks from Amazon for Kindle about Herbs - how to grow them - their medicinal uses, etc. When the VA charges me $25 for Ranitidine and I can buy the same stuff over the counter for $4 I have to make wise decisions on the use of God's money He has entrusted me to use. Too bad I can't send these ebooks to everyone but doesn't work. Oh well God bless - keep up on those meds until gone and don't over do things for now.

Glad you are feeling better Martin. I wish I had a better "handle" on natural cures like you do. I also wished I knew how to garden properly so I could plant my own veggies and herbs.

a person very ill! May God in Jesus' name renew you back to good health and physical strength to do His service and get out there and do :detecting: when the weather is warmer! Amen! Ma

small garden plot to plant the seed and keep them fertilized with manure and give them water when needed! Just go to how to plant and grow a garden on the Internet and I'm sure you will find plenty of information! Good soil, manure and water is needed and then watch the flowers or veggies and herbs grow luscious and green! I use manure and Miracle Grow which does a very good job on all plant life when they have lots of sunshine! Grow your herbs in flower pots in a sunny window and don't forget to water and you will have good herbs to use for meds and to cook with! May God bless you with very good health in Jesus' blessed and holy name! Amen! Ma
