Update on the Bullet

CQuarles

New member
The detective working the case I described last week called today. The preliminary ballistic comparisons between the bullet I found and the one taken from the victim's head are not conclusive. The analyst could not say the bullet I found was not from the same gun as the one used to murder the victim, but he could not say it was, either. He opines that the bullet was somewhat damaged, and that the FBI may have some advanced technology at Quantico that can determine for certain whether the two bullets were fired from the same gun. I have no idea how long this will all take, but I will let you know as soon as I find out....

My Bad on post above CQ

It was fortunate that you found the .25 ACP bullet, this round has a low velocity and therefore much easier to find than a magnum round. But, as you said that is a small target to find and resembles the many trash signals in a particular yard setting. Good job.............Hombre
