Wore me out! At the church early to get the tables and chairs. To the Public Square to set up. My friend Charlie was in one whale of a mood over minor things. A friend from church showed up to help Charlie and I with signing up people for a petition that that we are promoting. It's to put an amendment to the state constitution to restore sovereignty to the State of Ohio and provide the people with recall if an elected official strays from either Constitution. You can boot them out of office. Oh, what a blessing. As the U.S. Constitution was written, each "state" was it's own sovereign nation and the Federal Government was the servant of the states. At the time of and before the Civil War, the Fed was trying to tell the States what they could or could not do. Things got reversed and have been that way ever since. The Attorney General of the State of Ohio has been giving our leaders the run around about wording of the condensed version that goes on the ballot. It's supposed to go to the Secretary of State but she allowed the review and release of the info on "Joe the Plumber", refused to review the Presidential election ballots, over 200,000 ballots were suspect and the President won by a little over 200,000 ballots, five candidates tried to get onto our May primary ballot and it seems that they all had the same problem-they supposedly turned in to too few signatures whereas a candidate near to me turned in over 2700 signatures when he only needed 1000 valid signatures-she said he had less than 1000 signatures turned in, two of the rejected candidates were from her party and were seeking her office. Do you think that you will ever hear about this on Fox News? NOT!
Meanwhile back at the TEA PARTY! Trying to figure out how to tell what I was led to do without sounding like an egotistical, narcissistic individual. How about third party. The opening speaker gave greetings to the crowd and asked if there were veterans and/or current military personnel. The crowd honored them with applause. The mission statement and purpose of the Allen County Ohio Patriots was read, punctuated by applause. The speaker addressed an issue using a custom made t-shirt to get the example across. Then to the challenge as to why they were there. Three challenges:
1. To the Christians only, the non-Christians don't even have to listen.
As the speaker mentioned II Chronicles 7:14 a few in the crowd showed signs of recognition and they waited with anticipation. If my people, which are called by my name-This was given to the Jews but we as a nation have declared that we are his people, thus we have an application of this verse, will humble themselves, and seek my face, and pray, and turn from their wicked ways, we need to get humble and as Christians turn from our wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land applause again. The speaker was wondering if they were hearing what was said.
2. Now the non-Christians:
John 3:18
Rm. 3:23
Rm 6:23
John 1:12
The speaker stumbled through this part. We are to give the Gospel Message and God the Holy Spirit will reap the harvest in spite of his servants.
3. Challenge to all:
Why are you here?
Did you come to hear local speakers making great and inspiring speeches?
Did you come to hear heartfelt Patriotic Music?
Did you come to learn what's the latest socialistic offering and how to fight it?
Today is about "We the People" and the Constitution, it's not 10% of the people do 90% of the work. If "We the People" don't get involved, it's over and done with, the United States will be no more.
Thank you for your time.
If a video comes up, I'll, well the speaker, will try to post a link or something. Something I noticed about our TEA PARTY rally was that God and Jesus were mentioned so many times it could have been church.
