UPDATE: Thank you for the prayers and thank you God..

The other day my left eye (my 'good' eye) appeared to have developed a cataract. I could not make out anything with it at any distance...just shiny globs heading towards me. I asked for your prayers and knew there was nothing I could do to fix the situation beyond trusting God. I woke up that morning and dreaded the future of being blind and useless. After your prayers that day I woke up yesterday morning. My left eye seemed to be back to normal (well as normal as it was before the cataract situation). I could read text again, the shiny globs of bright light disappeared...back to the way things were before. I didn't want to jump the gun so to speak. Wanted to go through the whole day to see if there would be a nasty change or it would remain 'better'. It remained better.
This morning my vision is still 'better', no cataract problem in the left eye.

I could come to a bunch of conclusions but prefer this one: God, through the prayers of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, has removed the cataract. As for Sherry's comment that "I wish you could see what I see' (she has a cataract), I now understand the pain she goes through though her condition is much worse. Was God allowing me a glimpse of Sherry's problem? Was Sherry planting seed that I would get a cataract? (I say No to that). Whatever the answer is - thank you Father for removing this from my eye and also allowing me a glimpse of what cataract sufferers have to deal with. I can only guess that somewhere down the line God may use this experience for His purpose and glory. Thank you Father and thank you Brothers and Sisters in Christ, in Jesus name.

Anything is possible I guess. Just glad it was not permanent.

God is good and almighty with nothing impossible for Him to do! Whether He removed the cataract you might have had or it was just problems with allergies and mucus conditon of the eye doesn't matter....He answers prayers in whatever way he wants to do and He knows exactly what is needed! Maybe He showed you a touch of what cataracts feel like or just pollen, you have learned and you are better and God did it! I thank everyone for their prayers too for you, me and all the others we have been having prayers for and Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for all that You do for God's saints and children who love, honor, worship and adore You! Thank You, Holy Spirit, too, because you are the One Who does the work for our healing, comfort, strength and peace by revealing and leading us into all of God's truth! Amen!

God Bless!

The other day when this began the trees where changing colors up here. Sherry and I cancelled a trip to Traverse City, and a chance for us to be alone with each other without interruptions of others and of pets, etc. Just the two of us. Was saddened it didn't work out and bothered with the eye problem.

Yesterday afternoon we went to Traverse City, now that my eye is better, and :) Sherry said her eye with the cataract was a lot better too. Here is where timing was 'on time'. The colors of the trees could not have happened at any more precious time than our trip to Traverse City. Even though the sun was hidden behind clouds the awesomeness of the brilliance was great. If the sun had been out the glow would have been overpowering. The trees glowed against the darkened backdrop. The changing of the leaves was at 100%. It could not have happened any better than this. Such a beautiful sight and given to both of us on this trip to Traverse City.

Timing again is important as I awoke this morning to heavy winds. When I got up to let the dogs out, the ground was wet and covered in those beautiful leaves. Yep, fall is here. Go'ds timing made it so we could see the beauty of the leaves as never before seen by either of us. God is GREAT!

Sherry commented that there is no colors that an artist could use to capture the splendor of the color change in all those trees as we travelled along the highways. I said they could...only if they had God's paint set.

Thank you God for your timing and your love of us 'kids' to share such a magnificent sight to us and to make it so we could both see and enjoy it together.

I have to add that the price of gas dropped considerably from the other day making it a lot cheaper for this trip. Also, I know your prayers played an important role in Sherry and I see the majesty of God's beauty in these tree colors. Thank you.

Yes, God is always on time with His blessings for His children! No one can paint a scene of glorious colors but our Lord and so glad you and Sherry got to make your trip with better eye sight, so His wondrous beauty you both could see and enjoy! God's beautiful creations are all around for those who truly open their eyes and believe! Even the fish and marine life have such marvelous colors besides the animals, the flowers, trees, the sky and the whole universe shows the might and powerful awesome of our eternal Father! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus!

God Bless!
