upgrade to an f75ltd2?

I have an f5 and want to upgrade to the f75ltd2 just trying to decide whether to take the plunge or not lol

Here are my thoughts. If your ground is higher than medium mineralized (this would show 4 bars on f75 fe meter) or more, get the F19 instead, and with the price difference between F75LTD2 with the 5" and 7x11" coils and F19 with just the 5x10" coil, take the extra $$$ and get you a proper 7x11" coil for F19. Do you have a friend who can check the soil in you area with say a T-2 or F75??? F-19 is a better detector in higher than medium mineralized ground vs F75LTD2. Hope this helps.

Thanks squirrel my soil is not very mineralized here in pa my fe meter shows 1 maybe 2 bars most places Ive hunted so far I just was thinking about a deeper machine I'm not sure of the depth of the f19 yet.

with soil like that, F75LTD2 will be deeeeeeeep with stock coil using discrimination, throw a 12x13 nel tornado on one, whew. Better have a good shovel!!!!

I'm hoping it will be a lot deeper I'm probably gonna just keep the f5 as I still like it a lot just would like some more depth:)

I usually run 7 or 8 disc on my f5 just to knock out the small stuff I prefer hearing some iron.

I'm running the new F75 here in the mountains of NC, and all I can say is this machine is very deep. The test bed I have used for a while now on many machines has some six inch coins, 8 inch, and a ten inch quarter. A lot of machines have struggled on that ten inch quarter, but the F75 will hit it fine in default mode at the factory default sensitivity, easy. I'm going to have to add some deeper coins for this machine. All metals and BP are crazy deep! I'll be going back to the " worked out" sites with this unit for sure :)
