:usaa: Got some new grips for my 45 today...

[size=large]Below are 2 pictures of my carry pistol. It's a Kimber Classic Stainless, Gold Match... Kimbers top of the line. I have carried it just about every day for the last 10 years when I retired my old Colt, so it does have a little wear here and there. It has everything you would want or need in a 45 auto to include; night sights, front strap checkering, magwell, adjustable sights and more. Anyway, I decided I wanted to get a little more personal grips for it. I looked on the Internet at different sites for weeks, and finally decided on these Viet Nam Veteran grips. Oh sure... there were prettier grips, cooler grips, and some a LOT more expensive. You can actually pay over $1000 for custom scrimshawed mastodon ivory hand grips for a 45 auto.

I got them in the mail today and had to do a little fitting for the ambi-safety, but a few minutes with a Drimel tool and they slid right on. Thanks for looking. Click to enlarge
