So that I could repair the leak in my Excal housing, I removed the circuitboard from the housing.
Everything seems to be working fine now except that I'm not sure if I have the Desc./Pinpoint knob oriented correctly.
Looking down the machine one sees this knob first.
If I turn the knob to pinpoint I hear and feel a distinct click of a switch being activated near the end of the knob travel.
Should that click be on the right or on the left?
Pinpointing does seem to work when the switch is clicked "on" and the knob is in the correct position, but I have a nagging feeling that somehow I have the switch oriented wrong!
Help???
