The two silver quarters were a foot apart.

31/2 hours of wading among the big stones of the "Sinker Garden" and the deeper sand around the outside of it resulted in only 26 targets recovered.

After yesterday's hunt I was glad to head home when my old bod started to feel the chill. (The air was cold in the mid-30s when I started at mid low tide and windy)

Gas or even coffee money is always a good result considering the many times I have walked away with a lot less!!

This is .76 Troy Oz. of silver and the ring is one of only a few I've recovered that fits my finger. It is too bulky for my comfort as a matter of fact. (As one who works with my hands I don't wear rings anyway.)

Gotta hand it to the guys that get out there when conditions are 'cool'. Nice job.

It feels So Good to warm up afterwards.

Thanks as always for your replies Friends!!

It's always a thrill to recover a ring with some "heft" to it.

At first I thought it might be gold because it was more shiny that the usual silver ring. (Maybe hadn't been there long.)

Maybe next time!!
