USB charger amp rating

There are many high-quality USB chargers on the market (Anker is one brand) and most have amp ratings higher than the 1A that the stock XP charger provides. Am I correct that these chargers are perfectly OK for use with the Deus? My understanding is that the battery will draw what it will draw (based on the charging circuit) and the higher amperage is not "pushed" into the battery. If someone has authoritative info to the contrary, I'd love to hear it.

I'd verify with XP.

No athority here,,,but some folks have sued the pals with I think 1.2amp output and suffered to problems.

Was posted on this forum in this subsection I think.

To better help you with your question could you clarify if you are talking about the wall charger, the car charger or the quick charger that used a battery?

As for XP they are not on vacation they are preparing for the big rally in September.

Let me know so I can assist you

Thank you

I use the Anker with 2A output and no problems with charging. Deus batteries have controllers that limit the incoming current to the values that are safe for the battery. Here are some photos taken from the video HERE(sorry, on Russian):
Connected the Deus unit only (current 0.27A)

Unit + headphones (current 0.55A for two devices)

Unit + headphones + coil (current 0.87 for three devices)
http://savepic.ru/11032114.jpg
As you can see, the unit and headphones use current 0.27-0.28A each and coil - 0.33A. You can use any battery charger with a current above 1A output, and Deus batteries will not take current more than what I wrote earlier.
So you can use any good working USB chargers.

This is good information, and makes perfect sense to me. Thank you!
