I wasn't in the mood for a lot of noise today, so I kept it quiet with Andy's Trash Program at a permission site. I was able to nab another silver and IHP. The cuff link is plated--my eyes sure widened when I saw it though. I don't remember the 12K VDIs for the finds, but in 4K (I like to check targets with an adjacent identical 4K program), the quarter came in at 86 and was only 4 inches. The rest of that site held a bunch of clad and a couple of wheats....you know the type of site...mostly 1960s/1970s targets with the exception of a few older coins that happened to be in circulation. I was hoping for some older target because the place dates to 1917.
I know some of you want to know what the VDI was for the IHP in 4K, but I don't have a precise number, but it was 50-something...sorry, I'll try to pay closer attention next time. For some reason I've been finding a lot of them lately...hope that trend continues! In both 12K and 4K the indian did not sound primo; it must have been on the cusp of a notch and I probably got lucky to hear it...it was scratchy even in damp soil, but had just enough of a dig signal for me to kneel down on the ground. It was 5 inches deep.
I did try using the 4K version of Andy's Trashy Program that I created with help from other forum members--I'll update that post with my comments.
