General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

used Cibola or Tejon wanted

I've noticed it seems like less good detectors have been showing up used lately and when they do prices have been higher than you'd expect, especially considering we're in the dead of winter.

But I did see that there is a nice Tejon with an extra sniper DD coil on that auction site and when I checked it last night it was at $389 or something like that with a couple days left. The person selling it had real good feedback too which is something I always pay attention to when I bid and I can tell you from experience that little DD coil on the Tejon is amazing and spends more time on my detector than the original coil that comes with the detector.

There was a Cibola that was at $170 with four days left, but the person selling it only had 98% feedback and the 5 star detailed ratings were lower than I like to see when I bid. There's another nice Cibola, but they want $275 to open the bidding or $315 buy it now. Before I'd pay $315 plus shipping used I'd buy a new one for $340 with free shipping.

I am a big Tesoro fan and keep an eye on used prices even when I'm not in the market to buy one.

I've used both and the Tejon is a deeper more powerful detector than the Cibola, but the Cibola is a nice detector too if you're in an area that can handle a preset GB.
