Using an ace to detect the cuts

So I've done this in the past with not much luck. I know that this particular metal detector does not do well in wet salty sand, but with the sensitivity turned down and a listening ear you can still pick up the strong repeatable signal of a coin out of the cut of low tide but you need to disern between the falsing signal and the legit signal. This beach has yielded one gold one titanium and one silver ring in past years. With that being said there is always that expectation of potential. Previous finds were with the Whites Dfx one rented one borrowed. I understand the dfx has two frequencies and must automatically make the the change to the lower frequency when in beach mode. Was hitting well in the cut when my batteries died and I was not prepared. I had just found a quarter and a dime so I knew I was where the gold was if it was in that depth. Maybe today after a trip for a new AT pro pointer and a handle cuff replacement after my youngest thought the detector was a stair treads, lol. HH all
