So I've had the WOT coil about one year now but have not been able to use in successfully on beach hunts. The settings on my Sovereign elite and GT are the same as with the 10in coil, no success to speak of. I hunt on wet and dry sand no water at this time. Here in So Cal no one goes swimming anyway except young children and surfers and the don't lose jewelry. I do as good as can be expected with my other coils, coins, trash and an occasional silver item, ring, charms and the likes. So whats the secret? I'm determined to use the WOT with success.
