Lately I have been trying to explore all of the programs on my v3. Myself and a friend went to an old dredge site to look for nuggets. I used the v3 in prospecting mode and came up with this beauty. The stone was at about 3 inches deed in a big pile of dredge tailings. In prospecting mode it hit at +7, and rang loud. The picks are not to clear as I took them with my phone, but the rock is absolutely peppered with gold. Yep, check on the prospecting mode, it works well.

Now that is a nice find, gold inclusions in that matrix. I'd love to get out to some old dredge sites I used to live near. Alas I'll probably have to wait on that little opportunity and just enjoy the local parks a bit more.
