Vaquero and game tokens

I find a load of these things in the yard of the house behind us. Game tokens of different sizes from dime size to just larger than a quarter. The Vaquero hits on them hard so it's simple to know you have something coin like.
 
I'd rather hone my detecting skills by digging those than a lot of other items I can think of. Ha! Wonder how old they are? Probably some kids back in the day were playing with those and scattered them throughout the yard or someone decided to go "cold turkey" on amusements? Ha!
 
The VAQ is hot on brass, don't be surprised if you find a Gold coin to
 
It's also super hot on nickels and gold rings. Nice going!
