Vaquero meets a Captain

Hit the yard next door for a few minutes before dark and came up with a few newer coins and a set of Captain's Bars. They were in an area where a huge old tree was removed last year so the soil has been disturbed quite bit. The home is nearly as old as ours dating from the mid 1890's. The bars are sterling silver and might be WW2 era. The pin is missing but the hinge and clasp are still in place. I found it interesting.

Thats cheating most people have to be in the military to be a Captain. Cool find.

thats an awesome find
